Worst case scenario, you can backup the control folder as above, also whatever folders have your saved pilot careers, any missions you made in the mission editors, etc, delete and do a fresh install of Il-2, run it clean and fresh and see if that works. And you can always copy the folder you backed up folder back in there

For that matter, are you on your PC as an "administrator" level login?Īfter installing TrackIR again and verifying that isn't the problem, make a backup of your keyboard/HOTAS input folder \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\input, and then delete everything in that folder and do a "file integrity" check for IL-2 in steam, which should rebuild and put that input folder settings back to default like a fresh install, and try going in and trying to fly something. I checked my TrackIR, I'm running that at least as an admin. In the tiny "camera" window in trackir where it shows the green lights for the leds/reflectors, is there ANY red in there which would indicate lighting behind you that might interfere with trackir? I had an issue once where mine was very spotty, and finally noticed a bit of red down in the corner where a bit of light was coming through a door behind me.Īre your running TrackIR and IL2 as administrator? I've seen posts about windows UAC messing with TrackIR depending on user rights, and people fixing problems running both as admins. Have you tried totally removing the TrackIR software and reinstalling it?ĭo the lights on the receiver stay green, or do they go orange like it's paused? I know you've checked the in-game keys for conflicts, but what is the trackir key you have for "pause", is there maybe a conflict there.
